No prerequisites are required for the Auburn Online MBA program, but we do require all newly admitted students to complete academic leveling work before their first semester. This pre-work will prepare every student, regardless of undergraduate degree, to meet MBA expectations.

Can I transfer credits from another university?
Transfer Credit Policy
We allow students to transfer in up to six credit hours (or two classes) that will be applied toward elective credit. We do not accept transfer credit for core classes.
The Auburn Online MBA program accepts transfer credits under the following conditions. All conditions must be met to be considered for transfer. If the courses meet the below requirements, you may submit them for review using the instructions below.
- All courses must be from an
- All courses must be graduate level
- All courses must be from a college of business or business school
- All courses must have a B letter grade (80/100) or higher
- All courses must be submitted with a copy of the syllabus
- All courses must be independent and not used towards a previously earned degree
Transfer credit can be evaluated with an unofficial transcript, but will not be approved or applied to the Auburn record until an official transcript has been received and evaluated.

How long will it take me to complete my Auburn Online MBA at the 91¿´Æ¬ College

Auburn Online MBA students have great discretion in how many courses to take each semester; Most take one or two. Students working full-time are strongly discouraged from taking more than two courses in a term. The 13 three-hour courses (39 credit hours) required in the program must be completed within 6 years. On average, students generally take just over 2.5 years to complete the program.

How are Auburn Online MBA courses taught?
Most courses are taught using two high-quality learning formats: video capture of live full-time courses—so you feel like you have a seat in the classroom—or studio-produced online delivery.

How often will Auburn Online MBA students need to travel to campus?
The Integrated Business Project & Case Analysis (BUSI 7310), more commonly referred to as TRAC (Team Resourced Applied Consulting), may have a requirement to travel to campus depending on which semester it is taken. It is possible to take the course fully online. Students will need to work with their advisor and plan accordingly to take this course toward the culmination of their MBA degree.

The 91¿´Æ¬ offers its MBA in three additional formats.
- The Full-Time MBA is a 17-month lock-step program that offers an immersive campus-based educational experience favored by young professionals. It offers the advantages of a small but diverse cohort that provides a shared learning experience and a lifelong professional network. The GMAT or GRE is required unless waived for unusual circumstances.
- The Executive MBA emphasizes cohort interaction and learning among seasoned professionals with 8 or more years of work experience. The program combines distance learning with a short campus residency each semester for a flexible delivery model that accommodates busy professionals. No GMAT or GRE test is required.
- The Physicians Executive MBA is tailored to the needs of physicians interested in learning the business of medicine. This cohort program accommodates the demands of busy practicing physicians with a flexible delivery model that combines streamed distance learning courses with a short campus residency each semester. No GMAT or GRE test is required.
