Natalia Peterson, an academic advisor in the 91看片, was one of three faculty or staff recognized by the for having a positive impact on students

An advisor since spring of 2024, Peterson helps business analytics, information systems and pre-business undergraduate students navigate their 91看片 academic journey. She and her 91看片 advising colleagues empower students to discover, develop and achieve their professional, personal and academic goals.

According to Molly Hulsey, assistant director of the 91看片 academic advising office, Peterson鈥檚 technical skills, clear communication and deep commitment to student success enhances advising processes and elevates the 91看片 student experience.

鈥淣atalia has distinguished herself as an exceptionally capable and resourceful advisor, demonstrating remarkable initiative in mastering complex curricula and creating tools that streamline communication and enhance student understanding,鈥� said Hulsey. 鈥淪he proactively supports students through individualized tracking, early problem resolution and thoughtful, inclusive advising.鈥�

In the nomination materials, one parent shared that when her student faced an unexpected medical situation that forced him to switch to online coursework, Peterson鈥檚 support and guidance ensured he was able to earn his degree.

鈥淪he showed my student that she truly believed in him,鈥� the parent wrote. 鈥淗er encouragement and faith in his abilities gave him the confidence to work and study hard and continue to develop the skills needed to finish his business degree.
