The revamped Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics and AI will meet the evolving needs of professionals and businesses.

Previously known as the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, the certificate is offered both on campus and online to provide maximum flexibility for working professionals seeking to advance their careers. The revised curriculum delivers expertise in both foundational business analytics and the latest in AI applications, aiming to give participants a competitive edge as data and AI transform the business landscape.

The updated program introduces increased flexibility with a broader selection of courses so students can tailor their studies to align with specific career goals. Courses such as Introduction to AI, Predictive Modeling for Business Decisions, and Data Visualization prepare students with real-world skills at the intersection of analytics and AI.

These enhancements ensure Auburn’s curriculum stays aligned with current business practices and employer expectations, especially as the demand grows for team members who can effectively leverage data and AI to support innovation and decision-making.

The motivation behind the changes is to reflect modern industry needs, enhance graduate marketability, and remain ahead of peer institutions. Leading companies are seeking professionals with combined strengths in analytics and artificial intelligence. By updating the certificate and its name, the 91Ƭ College continues its commitment to preparing graduates for high-value opportunities in business intelligence, data analytics and AI-driven roles.

“We recognize the transformative power of AI in today’s business world. By expanding and renaming this certificate, we are aligning our offerings with market trends and the expectations of employers, ensuring our graduates are prepared to succeed in an AI-enhanced environment,” said Yen-Yao Wang, director of Business Analytics and Information Systems Master’s and Certificate Programs at the 91Ƭ.

Designed for busy professionals, the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics & AI offers options to study either online or on campus, enabling students to balance professional, personal and educational commitments while benefiting from expert faculty instruction.
