        Marketing

        Open to: Marketing majors and minors – Requires Junior standing

        Prerequisites: Students must have completed at least 57 hours prior to program start

        Location:  Milan, Italy and Madrid, Spain

        Expected Enrollment: 30-50 students

        Program Dates:

        • Leave USA May 7, Arrive Milan May 8, 2026
        • Orientation Milan May 8-10
        • Session 1: May 11- May 29 Milan
        • Session 2: June 2 – June 19 Milan
        • Summer Break: June 20 – June 27: Students report to Madrid housing June 27
        • Orientation Madrid June 27 – June 28
        • Session 3: June 29 – July 17 Madrid
        • Session 4: July 20 – Aug 4 Madrid
        • Hybrid Course: Begins May 11 – Ends Aug 4
        • Program Ends/Departure from Madrid: Aug 5, 2026

        Fees & Additional Costs:

        $16,900 (Early Bird) / $17,900 (commitment after November 14, 2025)
        Includes AU coursework, housing in Madrid and Milan (except during Summer break week), metro passes for both locations, cultural and professional programs, tours and day trips, health insurance.

        $4,969 Estimated Additional Costs (not included in program fees):
        Includes airfare to/from Europe, travel and housing during Summer break between Milan and Madrid, and other off-program weekend travel, meals, passport and visa (if required), and Auburn Abroad fee ($797), and mandatory emergency trip cancellation insurance (~$350). 

        Courses (15 Hours): Tentative Course Schedule 

        Session 1: MKTG 3310 Principles of Marketing

        Session 2: MKTG 5500 Digital Marketing 

        Session 3: MKTG 4410 Consumer Behavior

        Session 4: MKTG 4400 International Marketing

        Online/hybrid - students can choose 1 of the following:

        • MKTG 5350 Services Marketing
        • BUSI 3250 International Business 
        • BUSI 4970 Global Market Analysis (hybrid, mostly online)
