        Add a strong business foundation to your degree with Auburn鈥檚 15-hour Business minor. Learn core principles in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. Perfect for non-business majors looking to boost their career versatility.

        Are you interested in supplementing your degree with a business minor? This 15-hour minor is designed to provide a solid foundation of core business principles to non-business majors.  

        Note that prerequisites will not be waived, so pay special attention to the planning of your minor course work. 

        Business Minor Requirements

        Required Courses (12 hours)

        • 3 hours ACCOUNTING  (note sophomore-level prerequisite)  
          1. : Fundamentals of Accounting OR : Principles of Financial Accounting
        • 3 hours FINANCE  (note Accounting and junior-level prerequisite) 
          • : Foundations of Business Finance OR : Principles of Business Finance
        • 3 hours MANAGEMENT  (note junior-level prerequisite)
          • : Foundations of Business Management OR : Principles of Management
        • 3 hours MARKETING  (note junior-level prerequisite) 
          • MKTG 3810: Foundations of Marketing OR : Principles of Marketing


        Elective Course Options - choose one (3 hours)

        Total Hours: 15 (must earn a minimum overall minor GPA of 2.0)
