        Excel in Innovation with Auburn鈥檚 Business-Engineering Technology Minor

        Blend business savvy with engineering expertise in Auburn鈥檚 competitive Business-Engineering Technology minor. Designed for top students, this 16-hour program equips you for careers in tech-driven product development and innovation.

        An interdisciplinary program with the College of Business and the College of Engineering, this minor prepares you for work in technology-intensive firms where new product development requires a combination of business and technical skills. This minor is offered to top students competitively selected from the College of Business and the College of Engineering.  Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or greater.

        Prerequisites

        You must meet all prerequisites for the required courses listed below. Prerequisites will not be waived. Check out the links below to see course descriptions and their respective prerequisites (abbreviated as 鈥淧r鈥).

        Required Courses

        • : Introduction to Business and Engineering (3 hours)
        • : Integrating Business and Engineering Theory with Practice (3 hours)
        • : Cross-Functional Teamwork (1 hour)

        • : Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation (4 hours)

        Total Hours: 16 (must earn a minimum overall minor GPA of 2.0)
