Empowered Leaders Inspiring Tomorrow鈥檚 Excellence (ELITE) is a selective program designed to give students early in their career search the opportunity to engage with . Candidates best suited for this program are sophomores or juniors by credit hour who strive to achieve the CPA designation and a future career in public accounting.

ELITE provides students the opportunity to learn more about , glimpse a day in the life, and enhance professional skills. All participants in this program are interviewed for a future internship position within the firm providing candidates the opportunity to secure an internship early in the recruitment cycle. Applications open for this program each year in August with a deadline in March.

The ELITE conference will take place May 22 -24th. The first two days (22nd & 23rd) will take place virtually and the last day (24th) will be hosted in the local office you are interested in. There can be a virtual option on the 24th to accommodate for comfortably or circumstance. 

Participants will: 

• Explore opportunities in tax and/or auditing, based on your area of interest 

• Learn tips for tackling the CPA exam successfully 

• Discover how to maximize the benefits of networking 

• Learn how to successfully navigate job interviews 

• Be considered for future opportunities in any Johnson Lambert office

Ideal candidates will be declared Accounting majors, planning to achieve the requisite academic hours to sit for the CPA exam and want to learn more about what it takes to be successful in public accounting!
